At Extrapolation Sport, we regularly invite guest contributors to share their perspectives, because the conversation around sport is and more interesting when it comes from a range of voices.
Our own writers have their opinions, fields, loyalties, and their preferred avenues in sport. That’s exactly why we want to regularly invite contributors so we can keep posting refreshing, engaging content.
If you have something worth saying, a take that challenges the narrative, a sport that deserves more coverage, or an angle that hasn’t been explored, get in contact. Strong guest contributors are credited as authors, giving your work exposure to a growing and engaged audience.

We also accept anonymous submissions where no author credit is required.
Submission Guidelines
Length: Articles should be a minimum of 500 words. Anything over 1,500 words may be published as a series, which isn’t a bad thing if the topic warrants it.
Structure: Write in clear, digestible paragraphs. It should be easy to follow and enjoyable to read.
Links: Any outbound links must comply with Google’s guidelines and add genuine informational value to the reader. Do not include promotional or commercial links unless you’ve spoken to us about it first. We’re straightforward about this: if you’re pitching an exposure piece and quietly embedding a paid link, we’ll notice, and we won’t publish it.
Images: If you’d like specific images to accompany your article, include them with your submission. They must be copyright-free, not sourced from other websites or publications.
What We’re Looking For
Our readers come here to think differently about sport. They want writing that goes beyond the scoreline: content that is analytical, opinionated, and genuinely informative. We particularly welcome fresh perspectives on lesser-covered sports, and contrarian takes that challenge the mainstream narrative. What We Won’t Publish
Plagiarised or recycled content. Respect for other writers’ work is non-negotiable.
Poorly written or non-English submissions. Our readers expect a standard and we intend to maintain it.
Content that is derogatory, discriminatory, or abusive in any form. whether aimed at players, fans, officials, or anyone else. Sport provokes strong feelings, and that’s fine. But Extrapolation Sport will not be a platform for hate of any kind: racist, homophobic, misogynistic, or otherwise.
