Formula 1 is set to return to Turkey after a six-year absence, with Istanbul Park included in the provisional 2027 calendar.
The circuit last hosted a race in 2021, when Valtteri Bottas took victory for Mercedes.
A special track for Lewis Hamilton, where he equalled Michael Schumacher’s all-time record in 2020, winning his seventh Driver’s Championship.
Istanbul Park also holds a special place in Formula 1 history. In 2020, Hamilton secured his seventh world title at the circuit in challenging conditions.

The British driver has often spoken about his affection for the track, describing that race as “a day I will never forget” and calling the championship win there “incredibly special”.
The 5.33km track is known for its technical difficulty, with features including several elevation changes, that challenge both the driver and the car.
Under the terms of the agreement, the Turkish Grand Prix is set to remain on the Formula 1 calendar for five years.
Formula 1 takes another foot into the Turkish market, with over 19 million people now watching. Now boasting over 7.5 million followers on social media, growing 25% year-on-year, and YouTube views have increased by 107%.
