Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua facts, dates, time and where you can watch it.

Much scepticism surrounds the blockbuster bout between Jake Paul and Antony Joshua. The pair have exchanged digs online through interviews and posts and the opportunity has finally occurred for their head to head in Miami, Florida.

After Gervonta Davis dropped out from his fight against Logan Paul’s brother, former heavyweight weight champion Joshua stepped up to the plate. This came after Davis was accused of battery, false imprisonment and kidnapping by his ex-friend.

For years the YouTube star has been a point of discussion with the opinion being he has not challenged himself in his boxing career.

AJ, former two-time unified World Heavyweight Champion (IBF, WBA Super, WBO), stands head above Paul’s previous opponents and looks to bed ‘The Problem Child’s impressive professional record.

The pair are set to face off next Friday in Miami in a professional heavyweight fight. They will contest over eight three-minute rounds, both fighters will be wearing 10oz gloves.

Uncertainty is surmounting the spectacle, with rumours bubbling about the fight being cancelled. Pictures surfaced of Jake Paul boasting a black eye, and apparently injured.

Former World Champion, Bermane Stiverne, claimed to Gambleonline, “I’ve just heard somewhere that he [Paul] was injured, that it’s not happening.

“I don’t know. I just heard not long ago it was cancelled. I don’t know what’s going on.”

He has since admitted it “might be a lie”.

The injury was later confirmed to have been from British Boxer, Lawrence Okolie, who caused the damage in a sparring session against the American.

Jake Paul, very on brand, managed to take the opportunity of the rumour to announce a ‘major update’ on social media. This fuelled the conspiracists, however as it stands, the fight is still ongoing.

Netflix have the broadcasting rights to stream the fight, with the ring walk expected to be on December 19th around 4am UK time (11pm local time, Miami).

6-days out from Christmas, the festivity will have to be put on hold as the two machines lock horns.
